I was recently able to get to Los Angeles to play my first course in the area, Trump National Golf Club, Los Angeles. One of nineteen Trump National Golf Clubs in the world, this course offers a beautiful setting for golf on the Southern Californian coast.
I’ve been on a little executive course run as of late and today’s post is going to add to it. I had short time and some beautiful weather and decided to go out and play 18 in under three hours at St. Mark Executive Golf Course in San Marcos, CA. Keep reading to see what it was like!
Everyone knows that hitting the driver on 14 of 18 tee shots is exhilarating and partly what makes golf so much fun. However, every once in a while, devoting a round to the short game is not so bad and can actually help out your overall golf game. I recently spent a short afternoon on one of the local, San Diego, executive golf courses. The Lomas Santa Fe Executive Golf course in Solana Beach, San Diego offers a rewarding and fulfilling round of golf whether you are short on time or are just looking for an easy afternoon round with your buddies.
I went to Palm Springs on a recent staycation and wanted to explore the golf scene in the area. When you look at a map of Palm Springs, you’ll see it is chalk full of golf courses. The real question is what course to play. Many people will play at the course where their hotel or resort is located. While this is enjoyable for most, I decided to venture off and explore some of the local courses in the area.
I have the privilege to call this my home course. This beautiful course was built in 2007 and designed by nationally renowned course designer, Greg Nash. The Crossings offers a fantastic ocean view, rewarding golf, and a great 19th hole experience. Having played the course numerous times, it continually offers a new playing experience while the views never get old.
Encinitas Ranch is one of the more beautiful golf courses in San Diego with its stunning setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Can this beautiful setting help to get this course a great rating?
